Hey there! Since you've probably played a Final Fantasy game before, you'll pick up the basics of World of Final Fantasy pretty quickly. I'm not going to rehash the tutorial stuff, but let's go over some general strategies to help you out.

Generally, magic hits harder than physical attacks, so always try to exploit enemy elemental weaknesses. Thunder is a great element to focus on because tons of enemies are weak to it, and very few resist it. Fire and Water are also common weaknesses, but a lot of enemies are also resistant to them, so be careful. Light magic is rarely resisted, which is nice. Ice and Wind aren't super useful for specializing, and Earth magic is a bad idea since most enemies resist it and few are weak.

Beyond just hitting elemental weaknesses, you'll also want to be able to break enemy stacks. Enemies stacked three high can be really dangerous, and you can't even capture them until their stack is toppled. Basic attacks will eventually break them, but using attacks specifically designed to topple stacks will speed things up.
