On Soleil Island, purify the hewnstone. Collect the chests containing Blaze Gloves, 5000G, and Basic Craft Stock x125.

Speak with Logr at the east end of Soleil Island. A fishing spot nearby contains Aqua Marina (Fishing Bait L).

Travel to Serenes Island and purify the hewnstone. The fishing spot here has Calamitis (Fishing Bait M). Enemies are level 62-64.

Locate buried treasure south of the fork containing Fishing Bait EX x3. To the right of the fork, a chest holds Super Antidote x3.

Use the statue to separate the chain and solve the puzzle:

Person 1 stands on the panel to the right, opening the blue door.

Person 2 proceeds through the blue door to a floor panel on the right, opening the purple door.

Person 1 goes through the purple door, collecting Panacea x3 from a chest, then steps on the circular panel to switch characters.

Person 2 opens a chest for Hail Bracelet, steps on the circular panel to generate a mana wave, rides it, and checks to the right for buried treasure containing Break Elixir. An ambush against a level 63 flying griegr occurs through the next door. Move to the statue and switch characters.

Person 1 rides the wave; in the ambush room, defeat the group of four enemies (kangaroo and plant types).
Reconnect at the statue and open the chest for Rune Tablet - Part Three. You can now ascend waterfalls.
Before using the mana road, check to the left for buried treasure with Dark Lump x5.
On the other side, proceed forward to find a chest with Lyre Soul.
Go uphill; across the water, find buried treasure with Dryad Tear x3.
At the top of the waterfall, use Karja's mana burst.
At the top of the hill, behind a plant enemy, find buried treasure with Empty Bottle.
Before riding the mana wave, check below for a chest with Basic Reagents x125.
Both mana roads lead to the same destination; the right path offers a speed boost and a higher landing point.
Check the ground near the first line for Rainbow Lump x3.
Ride up the waterfall and use Karja's mana burst to ascend higher.
To the right, a chest contains Yellow Seastone x3.
Before using the mana strings, search the ground for 6500G.
Enter the cave after the red marker event.
In the Serenes Island Cave, purify the hewnstone.
Mana ride over to platforms on the left using crystal lines to reach a chest with Sea God's Incense.
Back on the main path, go up and use the mana wave (ride and jump up to it) to break a crystal.
To the south, find buried treasure with Super Stimulant x2.
Before the path turns south, check the ground by the lamp for buried Blue Seastone x3.
Observe a mana string point to the north; a crystal and chest containing Fishing Bait L x5 are present.
Head south; where you drop down, find a chest with Blizzard Gloves.
Stand on the lift and hold X to descend.
In Serenes Island Cave 2, find buried Red Seastone x3 by the water.
Use mana sense (a way to perceive hidden elements) to find a hidden pathway. To the right is a lever.
Collect items from chests: Chalice Soul, Fishing Bait G x3, and buried Basic Craft Stock x150.
Backtrack from the buried chest, use mana sense, and pull the lever.
Go past the main door, pull the lever with mana string. Slow down time (a mechanic to alter temporal flow) and hug the west wall to pass through the door and collect Luncheon Recipe: Potatoes.
Pull the same lever, slow time, and go through the east door. On the other side, find buried Rainbow Lump x3.
Ride the lift down to Serenes Island Depths.
Break the crystal behind you and collect buried 6750G.
On the other side of the mana strings, find buried Aurora Berries x3.
Ride the road, but jump off to the right for a chest with Hermit's Remedy.
Ride the waterfall up, then use rocks to the left or Karja's burst to reach a higher ledge.
Open the chest for Hellblaze Tome.
Drop down and break the crystal. Find buried Defense Elixir.
Purify the hewnstone and prepare for a boss fight.
Defeat Mag Mell Mananann. He attacks with a spear, generates purple whirlwinds, and after his Durability Meter is depleted, he flies up and performs a torpedo spin. He also throws his spear in a spinning attack, drops black orbs that become vines, summons white fog to stab with his spear, and performs a torpedo spin. At the last 1/3 of his HP, he flies high and shoots blue shots across the field that Duo Guard (a defensive maneuver) does not block.
Tips
Remember to purify the hewnstone at each new area to save your progress.
Utilize Karja's mana burst and mana sense abilities to navigate puzzles and find hidden items.
Be prepared for ambushes and boss fights, especially against Mag Mell Mananann.
Keep an eye on your minimap (a small map display, usually in a corner of the HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap)) for enemy locations and points of interest.
