Villagers Outside: When you approach a villager who's out and about, they'll want to play a little mini-game with you. It's a game of chance, really. If you win, awesome – you get candy! But if you lose, don't sweat it too much. You'll either end up wearing a pumpkin mask yourself, or a random item like ragged clothing or a jack-in-the-box will just appear in your inventory. It's all part of the fun!

Villagers Inside: Now, for the villagers who are cozy inside their homes, they're a bit more demanding. To get candy from them, you'll need to give them a good scare! The easiest way to do this is by wearing a mask when you knock on their door. If you've got one of those Halloween masks from Labelle's, now's the perfect time to put it to use!

Trading Candy with Jack

Once you've amassed a good amount of candy, it's time to find Jack. Here's a little heads-up: on Halloween night, all your villagers will be wearing pumpkin masks, just like Jack himself! This means you'll have to do a bit of searching to find him amongst the masked crowd. When you do find him, you can exchange your candy for prizes.

Warning: If you just hand over regular candy to Jack, you'll get a chance at winning some unique furniture pieces from the Creepy or Spooky sets. However, if you happen to have a lollipop (which you can get by giving candy to villagers who are wearing a mask), you're guaranteed to receive a prize! So, if you're aiming for specific items, try to snag a lollipop.
