Memory 04: 04 Cold Fire

Begin by sailing your ship, the Morrigan, towards the objective marker. Be aware that heavy snow and strong winds will reduce visibility and affect steering. Navigate carefully through the islands until you reach the large green investigation area.

Upon arrival, you will be ambushed by a fleet of six ships: one Frigate, two brigs, and three gunships. While engaging them, watch out for icebergs, especially with poor visibility. Use mortars to damage larger ships from a distance and try to hit gunships as collateral. Switch to broadside/heavy shot for closer combat. If necessary, create distance and use mortars again.

After defeating the initial fleet, a cutscene will play. You must now take on the target's ship. An optional objective is to avoid hitting any icebergs. You can destroy icebergs to clear your path or use them as cover from enemy attacks. Use your spyglass to locate the enemy ship in the distance.

Engage the enemy ship, using mortars and broadsides. Be mindful of the icebergs. If the enemy ship attempts to ram you, turn your ship around so your rear faces the oncoming vessel and slightly off-center to cause a glancing blow, reducing damage and allowing you to counter-attack.

Continue attacking until the enemy ship is damaged enough to stop. Board the ship to initiate a boarding sequence.

For the second optional objective, kill the target without taking any damage. As soon as the boarding sequence starts, run to the mast closest to the wheel, use the rope lift to reach the rigging platform, and then cross to the enemy ship's sail beam. Run across until you are above the deck, target the marked enemy, and perform an air assassination.
