Guide yourself through the dangers of Langston River in Bastion. Learn enemy tactics, item locations, and how to survive the Weeping Nellie's journey.

Langston River might look peaceful, but don't let your guard down! Dangers are lurking everywhere, especially those pesky Stabweeds. If you've got the Scrap Musket, it's your best friend here. First things first, snag the pile of Fragments chilling in the southeast corner. Then, mosey on down the pier and get ready to fend off some Gasfellas. Keep pushing until you hit a barge – that's your ride, the Weeping Nellie. Just find the switch and give it a press to get things moving.

The Weeping Nellie is on a set path, but enemies won't make it easy. You'll face Squirts and more Gasfellas dropping in, plus Security turrets zipping alongside. Just keep your cool and deal with them as they appear. Eventually, the barge will take a hit and crash into a wall. Time to disembark and continue down the dock. You'll spot some Gasfellas rummaging around – take 'em out while they're busy. If you need to switch up your gear, the Arsenal is to the south at the fork. Otherwise, keep heading west along the docks.

You'll find the Core sitting pretty at the end of the dock. As soon as The Kid grabs it, get ready for a swarm of Peckers! These birds are small and weak, but they come in huge flocks and are super annoying. Your Scrap Musket is perfect for clearing them out. Once they're dealt with, head back to the Weeping Nellie. Good news – the wall is gone, and the barge is good as new! Even better, two friendly flamethrower Security guards are on board to help. Blast away any enemies that get too close until the barge takes another hit. The Nellie will ride out the rest of the path, crashing into Pecker territory.

Once you're back on your feet, take down any remaining Peckers flying around. Then, head out onto the small pier to grab a Health Tonic and a Black Tonic. Finally, inspect the opening in the ground to move on to the next level.
