Man's Best Friend

Your guide to the 'Man's Best Friend' side mission in Borderlands 2's Captain Scarlett DLC. Learn how to find and defeat Tinkles, Aubrey Callahan III's pet stalker.

Alright, Vault Hunter, ready for another side quest? This one's called "Man's Best Friend," and it's part of the *Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty* DLC. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to track down and put down a rather troublesome pet. ## Walkthrough ### Objectives * Kill Aubrey's pet stalker ### Strategy This is a pretty straightforward hunt. You'll get a waypoint leading you right to the target, which is a Cyclone Stalker named Tinkles. Now, this isn't your average stalker. Tinkles can spin around like a top for an attack, and on top of the usual pounce-and-vanish routine, it's got a beefy shield. Seriously, it can take a beating before that shield even starts to crack. Your best bet here is to bring along some [Shock](https://borderlands.fandom.com/wiki/Shock "Shock") weapons. They're super effective at stripping away that shield quickly, leaving Tinkles vulnerable. Once the shield is down, focus on taking the stalker itself out. ### Completion Once you've dealt with Tinkles, you'll need to head back to the Oasis Bounty Board to turn in the mission. You'll get a little quip from the mission giver: _"Stalkers are always cute and fuzzy until they grow up!"_ ## Notes Keep an eye out while you're in the area.
