Learn how to defeat Pyro Pete in the Chop Suey mission in Borderlands 2's Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage DLC. Get tips and strategies for this boss fight.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Pyro Pete - Immune to fire damage. Vulnerable to shock and corrosive damage.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Pete stays in the center of the arena, periodically spitting fireballs and using a flamethrower attack. Dodge his attacks and shoot him.
2. Phase 2: Pete will start throwing explosive barrels around the arena. Avoid these and continue to damage him.
3. Phase 3: Pete will enrage and become more aggressive, using his flamethrower more frequently and throwing more barrels. This is when you'll want to use your most powerful weapons and skills.

Strategy:

• Equip weapons with shock or corrosive damage to maximize your effectiveness.
• Stay mobile and constantly move to avoid Pete's fire attacks.
• Use the pillars in the arena for cover when necessary.
• When Pete throws barrels, be sure to keep an eye on where they land and avoid them.
• Don't be afraid to use your action skill when Pete enrages in Phase 3.
• After defeating Pete, head through the sewer drain to progress the story.
