Objective 1 : Use the sewers to bypass the enemy lines.

Upon entering the sewer, look left at the intersection. Shoot the Germans behind the boxes with your Scoped Mosin Nagant and move to their position. Prepare your PPSh for another German who will approach.

Look up at the ceiling opening; several Germans will run by and shoot. Quickly aim and shoot them.

Look straight ahead for a German peeking from behind a wall. Lie down and shoot him with your Scoped Mosin Nagant.

As you move towards the railing, Russians will appear. Be ready to shoot them.

Go up the stairs to the right and shoot the three Germans waiting there with your PPSh or another sub-machine gun. Proceed around the next corner and repeat the process.

Move to the boxes near the opening above. Use your Scoped Mosin Nagant to snipe two Germans on balconies, one on the floor of a bombed-out building to the right, and one shooting from a window on the left.

Enter the opening and, upon re-entering the sewer, look left and shoot the two Germans running through.

Proceed to the bend in the tunnel, staying close to the wall with your Mosin Nagant equipped. When you pass a certain point, a German will appear on a balcony to the side; snipe him. Repeat this for the other balcony on the opposite side. As the second German falls, look towards the end of the sewer for one or possibly two Germans approaching.

Ascend the stairs ahead and move through the sewer tunnel. After passing through the next hole in the wall at the tunnel's end, you will encounter a squad of Russians fighting a squad of Germans. Assist them in defeating the enemy soldiers, then move around the next corner in the room.

Shoot the German soldiers who run behind the sandbags ahead with your PPSh. Look in the direction they came from to find two or three more Germans. Lean out from your point of cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) (a position that shields you from enemy fire) with your Scoped Mosin Nagant and snipe any Germans attempting to do the same to you.

Continue forward and face another squad of Germans. Look towards the first hole in the wall and ignore the first German who runs past, as he is nearly impossible to hit. Instead, wait with your gun pointed there, and another German will soon appear shooting at you. Shoot him, then eliminate the remaining Germans with your Scoped Mosin Nagant.

Reach the end of the passage and head up the dirt incline into another area. About halfway through, you will be shot at from behind a box by a German. You can either rush him or take the safer approach and shoot him in the headshot (a shot that lands on the enemy's head, usually an instant kill) (a shot that hits the head, often resulting in an instant kill) with your sniper rifle while using cover.

Move around the boxes and round the corner. Two more Germans will line up; snipe them or use your machine gun (sniping is easier). Then, move through the hole in the floor.

Two Russian comrades will be fighting a small squad of German snipers and machine gunners at the end of this sewer tunnel. Help them by using your Scoped Mosin Nagant to take out the snipers. If a sniper throws a grenade, fall back and wait for it to detonate before resuming the fight.

Once all enemies are eliminated, enter the building and locate the hole in the floor to complete the mission.
