    Head left into the first large room. You will encounter new enemies: KILLER MANTLES (try to backstab) and BEAM SKELETONS (fire beams).

    Proceed upwards through the room.

    In the room above, find a WARP ROOM to the right.

    Just outside the Warp Room is the SKULL MILLIONE. This room is a good farming spot if you enter from the left.

    Head upwards past Dead Crusaders and Gargoyles, then enter the LEFT HAND room.

    Encounter the RED MINOTAUR, a good farming spot. Note: The Killer Mantle soul can speed up this fight.

    Continue left, defeat a Mantle, and encounter the WERETIGER.

    Continue killing enemies until you reach a dead-end. The sword .: Laevatain :. is located here.

    Head back to the vertical room and go UPWARDS to enter the UPPER RIGHT door to grab a .: High Potion :..

    Return to the vertical room and drop down to the room below. Head through the left exit.

    In this room, you will find the GLADIATOR, a unique enemy. This is a good farming spot.

    Proceed through the left exit. You will fight a Beam Skeleton, a Weretiger, and a Mantle.

    Head left and go down through the floor. The path leading up is inaccessible for now.

    Down here, to the LEFT, is a SAVE ROOM. Heal up and then farm the Killer Mantle outside this room to obtain its soul, which is useful for swapping HP and MP.

    From the save room, go past the Killer Mantle and enter the right room. This is an elevator.

    You will find a RED DOOR to your right. Press down to reveal a SECOND red door. Press down again to reveal a THIRD red door and the boss room.

Strategy:

  • Balore has two main strategies. The first involves powerful fist attacks (Punch and Slam). Dodge these by timing your jumps. Save some MP for the second strategy.
  • Balore's second strategy involves an eye laser attack. He will blast the ground, requiring you to jump over the lasers. As you damage him, he attacks faster.
  • Equip the MEDUSA soul to hover just by his eye and continue attacking him during the eye laser phase.
