Walkthrough

    Enter the Study and proceed right, past the durga enemies.

    In the large room with many platforms, head through the lower left door as you cannot jump high enough to reach the eastern side.

    Inside, defeat the two Student Witches and a Giant Ghost. Collect the Bastard Sword from the left. This is a good place to farm the Student Witch soul.

    Return to the start of the area and head downwards.

    Encounter the Evil Butcher, who throws knives. This is a good place to farm his soul. Collect the Uncurse Potion from the cubby to the left.

    Continue right to a large room with a pushable box. You cannot reach the upper areas yet, so ignore the box and head down into the lower left room.

    Defeat the Fleaman (a good place to farm its soul) and then the Arachne and Ectoplasm enemies. Collect the Arachne soul and the Ectoplasm soul (immunity to curses).

    Past the Arachne enemies, head up and defeat a Rock Armor. Collect $100 from the right corner and break the wall in the left corner to find a Melon.

    Exit this room and take the southern exit.

    To the left is a SAVE ROOM. Use it.

    Head right, defeating an Archer and a Witch.

    In the next room, you will meet Yoko Belnades, who discusses your powers and warns about Graham.

    After the cutscene, defeat the BUER enemy in this room (a good place to farm its soul).

    Continue right and encounter the Minotaur. Entering from the right allows for easy respawning. Collect the Minotaur soul (STR +8). You may also find a Battle Axe.

    Continue right and see a downward path and a room to the right. Go right first to collect $100.

    Then, go down and to the right. Enter the right room and approach the lion's mouth. Backdash into the adjacent room as the mouth opens when you look away.

    Fight through this room to claim the Whip Sword.

    Return to the main path and enter the boss room to the left.

  1. Stats / Weaknesses: The Great Armor's weak point is its legs. It guards everything else.
  2. Phases: The Great Armor has two attacks.
  3. Strategy: Avoid running into the boss. Focus attacks on its legs.
