Enter the Inner Quarters and meet Persephone. This is a good spot to farm her soul (Absorb enemies' HP with a magical item).

Climb upwards and collect the High Mind Up from the cubby at the top.

Enter the right door, kneel, and destroy the floor to reveal a hidden room.

Kill the witches in the hidden room, grab the High Potion, and break the right wall for another hidden room containing a Ninja Suit and a witch. This is a good spot to farm the Witch soul (Repels bullets with shield).

Head back out and continue upwards, dealing with Durga and Nemesis enemies.

You'll encounter a room blocked by a time-stopping rabbit (left) and a room with a Persephone (right). Continue upwards.

Find a save room on the left and proceed to the boss door on the right.

General Information: The Headhunter uses three different heads/forms.

Lady Form: Pathetic; uses a dagger. Stand on platforms to be safe. Do not use MP.

Wizard Form: Summons lightning and fireballs. Stand between lightning bolts and to the left or right of the wizard to dodge fireballs. Do not use MP.

Reptile Form: Gains mobility, crawls on walls/ceiling. Attacks with tongue and poison mist. Use all MP on this form.

After defeating the boss, you will obtain the Headhunter soul (Collects souls to increase strength). This soul increases all stats except luck, with the increase scaling with the number of souls collected.

Exit the boss room to the right.

Explore the new room downwards to find a fountain you cannot pass yet. Enemies here include Valkyrie and Curly.

The best place to farm the Curly soul (Transforms into a demon that rushes at enemies) is in the LEFT BOTTOM exit from this big room. Kill the first Curly repeatedly.
