Laruba Mansion – Dracula's Ring

From Bodley Mansion, head west. If you need Laurels or health, detour to the Town of Doina by going right through the Wicked Ditch. Doina has a church for resting and a trader selling Laurels.

Head west from Bodley Mansion to the next screen, then west again to reach Bodley Lake.

Equip your Red Crystal and crouch for approximately 5 seconds to reveal a hidden entrance underneath Bodley Lake.

Head down and left along the stone ledges. Go left to the next screen to enter the Uta Lower Road.

In Uta Lower Road, ignore the upper path. On the lower path, hop over the first block and go left to a body of water with blue block platforms.

Leap left across the floating blue blocks to reach a wall.

Equip and throw Holy Water at the wall to destroy stone blocks, creating an opening. Try to leave the top and bottom blocks intact for easier exit and a shortcut.

Walk left through the opening to find an old man (NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you)).

If you have the Morning Star whip, the old man will upgrade it to the Flame Whip, the best whip in the game. If you do not have the Morning Star, he will state, "To break my spell, come back with a powerful weapon." If you have the Morning Star, he will say, "I'll give your Morning Star power to burn away evil."

To use the shortcut: Head back right. Stand on the bottom intact block and move right until half of Simon's body is over the edge. The blue block platform will pull you up, and Simon's body will get wedged in the block above. Jump to reach the ledge above.

Alternatively, to reach the same ledge without the shortcut: Hop back right over the blue blocks, climb ascending stone blocks (killing a Skeleton), and use Holy Water to destroy a vertical column of blocks. Walk left, jumping across short stone platforms to the ledge above where you met the old man.

Continue left, killing a Skeleton, dropping to the ground, and crossing another stretch of water by hopping across stone platforms, killing a Skeleton on the middle one.

Head left through the opening to exit Uta Lower Road.

In Joma Marsh, use your Flame Whip to defeat Skulls and Flame Thrower enemies.

Throw Holy Water at the left block in the second set from the right-hand side of the screen to destroy it and reveal Hint Book 13/13. This is the final Hint Book.

The Hint Book reads: "Dracula's evil knife blurs Camilla's vision." This is a tip for the Vampira (Camilla) boss fight.

Continue left, jumping across floating blue blocks over a pool of water, killing Skulls and Flame Throwers.

Head left to the next screen, entering the marsh proper, which has poisonous purple water that drains health.

Activate a Laurel to cross the marsh safely. Leeches and Slimey BarSinister enemies in the water cannot harm you while a Laurel is active.

After climbing a small stone ledge, continue left through another stretch of poisoned water.

When the screen flashes purple, indicating the Laurel is about to wear off, immediately activate another to reach safe land.

Head left to the next screen to arrive at Laruba Mansion. Enter the mansion.

Head right along the long passage, whipping Skeleton Soldiers and Knights.
