Walkthrough

Exit the deer teleport and re-enter Orlox's Quarters.

Use the gravity jump or transform into a bat to reach the opening above.

Collect Resist Fire, Manna Prism, and Luck potion from pots on the left.

Proceed left along the path, encountering Bloody Zombies.

Collect the Estoc from a pot at the end of the path, then drop down the hole.

Locate the save room and an additional room on the bottom middle of the large room.

The bottom left of this room connects to the Royal Chapel.

Find a Garnet in the additional room (underneath the save room), which is used for selling.

Boss Fight: Orlox

Orlox has two forms:

Form 1:

Attacks: Summons blue skulls from a black void (can be attacked and eliminated), summons energy beams from the ground (position yourself between them), and fires a damaging beam after crossing his arms.
Strategy: Chip away at his health while avoiding his attacks. If wearing the Ring of Ares, you will take more damage due to lower defense.
Transition: Orlox kneels, and his first form's skin falls off, indicating the start of his second form.

Form 2:

Attacks: Shoots large fireballs in a row, with head movements altering their pathing (a shield can block some, but not diagonal projectiles). Shoots a laser-like light from its mouth, followed by a large explosion at the target spot (indicated by a higher pitch sound).
Strategy: Use a shield against fireballs, but be aware of diagonal projectiles. For the laser attack, immediately run to the opposite direction of the target, then back again to avoid the subsequent attack in your new location.

Tips

The Sword Card is a useful familiar that becomes more effective as it levels up.
The Garnet found in the additional room is only for selling to the Librarian.
The obstruction requiring the bat form to pass is present even though the bat form is required to reach that part of Orlox's Quarters.
