Hardpoint Strategies for Horizon

Here's how to approach each Hardpoint location on Horizon:

• The Hovertank Hangar: This is a big one. You've got two solid approaches here: either come in from the upper control room, giving you a great vantage point, or use the entrance from the upper right. Both give you a decent line of sight to spot enemies before they even see you.
• The Room on Top: This upper room is a fantastic spot to defend. The best way to get in is usually from the small northern room. Coming from the upper level is also an option, but it's pretty risky – enemies can easily spot you as you try to peek inside.
• Open Area Hardpoints: Honestly, an open area Hardpoint is never ideal. Expect enemies to come from pretty much anywhere. Your best bet is to use the smaller paths around the edges of the map to your advantage, trying to keep the area you need to defend as small as possible. Don't forget to call in those killstreaks to help clear out the area!
• Control Center (Above Hangar): This spot, right above the hovertank hangar, doesn't have many easy entry points. There are really only two ways in. Your best bet is to toss a lot of grenades and use your Exo abilities to get inside. Try approaching from the hangar itself; it forces enemies to deal with you on the ground rather than having the advantage of jumping around.
• The Tight Corner Hardpoint: This one is a real pain. It's got tight corners and an open area at the back where your grenades just fall off the map. I'd recommend approaching from either side and using your double jump to get the drop on enemies inside. Once you're in, Launchers can be super effective. Always try to peek inside while aiming down sights (ADS) first. If you spot an enemy, quickly dodge out and take them out while they're still surprised.
