Choose the vehicle command to unlock Pershing heavy tanks.

Build your base and send rifle squads to capture the fuel point on the right, with a Pershing for support. Build an AT gun at your base to defend against the Tiger Ace.

Capture the fuel point, build a forward barracks, and station an AT tank there. Have engineers build an MG emplacement.

Build a halftrack and train a sniper for scouting. Capture the munitions point near your base, which is heavily defended. Prepare for a firefight as the Tiger Ace will move towards your position. Use rifle squads to destroy Panzerschrecks and equip them with Bazookas.

To earn the Legion of Merit, destroy 20 Axis vehicles. Use two Pershings to bait the Ace's fire while engineers repair them. Keep at least one Pershing alive until you can replace it, as it's the only unit that can withstand the Ace's punishment. The Ace typically retreats when heavily damaged (10-15%) or after a certain time.

Points are usually heavily defended. The tactic is to lead with a Pershing, supported by rifle squads and a Sherman, with engineers keeping the Pershing repaired. Rotate damaged Pershings to the back.

Exploit AI pathing: position your tanks so that friendly units block incoming fire from enemy tanks, causing them to hit their own allies.

With two Pershings, you can rush forward, cause damage, and then retreat for repairs. Focus on infantry and light vehicles, pulling back when facing AT guns or the approaching Ace.

Destroy 20 vehicles and then the Tiger Ace. The medal is earned if the Ace is your 20th kill, but there are ample other vehicles, including trucks and halftracks on the retreat path, to reach the target count.
