There are many more "hidden locations" in Control than the 34 officially listed. These special areas each grant 1 Ability Point, along with any loot containers and collectibles found within. Most become accessible after acquiring the Levitate ability in Chapter 6, though two require further story progression. Some locations also necessitate Mold immunity, obtained by advancing the Old Growth sidequest.

Executive Sector

  1. Executive Affairs: On top of the ornate white pillar in the center of the room. Levitate and use Ground Slam against a side wall to reach it.
  2. Communications Department: In an office upstairs from the Mail Room Control Point. Requires Mold immunity to enter the infested area safely.
  3. Communications Department (Server Room): In the server room upstairs from the Mail Room Control Point. Levitate onto one of the booths. Loot containers in the roof space can be reached by using the wall speakers for height.

Maintenance Sector

  1. Maintenance Sector Access Corridor: Upon exiting the Sector Elevator, look up to find a ledge. Levitate to it, then through another hatch to a walkway.
  2. Janitor's Office: In the break room from the Merry Chase side mission. Levitate through the ceiling hole to reach an Astral Plane Hidden Location.
  3. NSC Power Plant: Levitate to the uppermost platform of the structure.
  4. Black Rock Quarry (Tunnel): From the Control Point, head left down the tunnel ending in a blocked doorway. Go through the gap at the top right to find a shaft to descend.
  5. Black Rock Quarry (Hole in Wall): As you enter the Quarry, look up and left to see a hole in the wall. Levitate to it. A level 5 door nearby leads to a shaft that opens into maintenance tunnels leading to the Furnace Chamber.
  6. NSC Coolant Pumps: During the Finnish Tango mission, a secret passage is revealed in the Janitor's Office. Reach the ledge overlooking the broken Firebreaks, then Levitate right to find a wall recess.

Research Sector

  1. Central Research (Lab 79): Above Dr. Darling's Lab, a balcony is accessible via a wall recess using Levitate. This leads to a platforming sequence to Lab 79.
  2. Central Research (Lab 10): Across from Dr. Darling's Lab, a balcony is reachable with Levitate and Evade. Explore the labs behind it to find a corridor leading to the Mold-infested Lab 10.
  3. Central Research (Window Ledge): Overlook the balcony near the Central Research Control Point to find a window ledge. Levitate to it and enter.
  4. The Pit: In the Restrooms where Mold Sample B is found, look up to see a hole in the ceiling. Levitate through it.
  5. Active Threshold: Near the Control Point, use Levitate to ascend ledges two levels up to find the Hidden Location.

Containment Sector

  1. Salvador Boss Arena: After cleansing the Benicoff TV and returning from the Astral Plane, go to the back of the arena. Use Levitate to ascend after unlocking the Ability Point.
  2. Panopticon, Fifth Floor: Facing the Swan Boat, look left for a wall opening. Use Levitate to cross.
  3. Logistics: West of the Logistics Control Point, look up for a hole in the ceiling. Levitate through it.
  4. Firebreak: Midway across the Firebreak between Security and the Panopticon, look left for a wall opening. Levitate to it.
  5. Transit Corridor Control Point: South of the Control Point, near an NYC Subway sign, is a wall recess. Levitate to it.

The Foundation

  1. The Crossroads: Before examining the Nail, descend ledges on the right to find a cave entrance.
  2. Astral Collision 1: After the first enemy group and reaching the structure's top, look right for toilet cubicles. Enter the rightmost one.
  3. Astral Collision 2: After claiming the Astral Tower PE control point, look right for a pillar. Levitate up to it.
  4. The Deep Cavern: After cleansing the Cave Bridge control point, Levitate to the far bridge and look left for a cave entrance.
  5. The Warehouse: After claiming the Warehouse Rise control point, find a ledge overlooking the elevator shaft. Look down for an opening to Levitate to.
  6. The Warehouse 2: On the Upper Warehouse level via elevator, punch through the back wall to reveal a hidden area with the Upper Warehouse control point.
  7. Collapsed Department 1: Punch through the back wall of the corner office to the right of the Data Filing and Entry entrance.
  8. Collapsed Department 2: On the fourth level of Data Filing and Entry, punch through the wall of an office on the left side.
  9. Collapsed Department 3: Use the cargo lift in Transit Access, then step off it to reveal a pit to drop into.
  10. Collapsed Department 4: In the Sector C Lobby, press the call button of an out-of-order lift, kill the enemy, and enter.

Investigations Sector

  1. Abandoned Offices: After the initial Hiss assault, turn left from the entrance and enter an office with a distinctive painting. Punch through the wall.
