Complete The Wizard's Curse mission in Cookie Run: Kingdom by reclaiming the Book of Spells, rescuing a Peasant, or destroying the Wizard's Guild.

Starting Gold: 15,000

Time Limit: None

Restrictions: Unable to Build Wizards Guild, Temple to Agrela, Temple to Dauros, Temple to Fervus, Temple to Krolm, or Temple to Krypta.

Starting Buildings: Palace: Lv.1

Economic Buildings: None

Hero Buildings: None

Defensive Buildings: None

Enemies: Daemonwood Dryad, Giant Rat, Harpy, Hellbear, Roc, Skeleton, Varg, Werewolf, Zombie

Unique Enemies: Spell-Casting Hooligan, The Angry Wizard, Lv. 20 Wizard

Unique Items: Book of Spells (Grants Flame Shield, Fire Blast, and Teleport)

Recommended Strategy #1: Reclaim the Book and Perform a Good Deed

This is the quick and easy method for completing the mission. You start with no buildings. Construct a Rangers Camp, a Marketplace, a Warriors Guild, a Rogues Guild, and an Inn in that order. Place the Warriors Guild near your Marketplace for protection. Recruit four Rangers as quickly as possible. Rangers are fast at exploring the map to arrest Hooligans. Once four Hooligans are arrested, a Help Scroll will appear over your castle. The last Hooligan requires a battle to reclaim the Wizard’s Book of Spells. This Hooligan may wander the map or be found by attacking the teal houses surrounding your kingdom. Warriors often attack automatically. The last Hooligan drops the Book of Spells, which grants Flame Shield, Teleport, and Fire Blast to the hero who claims it.

Next, rescue a local Peasant from three Werewolves. Use Rangers and Rogues to explore the map with Explore Flags if their location is unknown. The Werewolves are typically found near a 'Sign Post' with a Peasant. Low level Rogues may flee, but Rangers and Warriors can defeat them with Attack Flags. To strengthen your forces, build more Economic Buildings (like a second Marketplace and a Blacksmith) and upgrade your Palace to Lv. 3 (ensure you have 12 required heroes first). A Lv. 3 Palace allows building a Temple to Helia. Solarii are effective hunters and may destroy the Werewolves without an Attack Flag.

Recommended Strategy #2: Attack The Wizard or His Home

This strategy is more challenging. Construct a Rangers Camp, a Marketplace, an Inn, a Blacksmith, a Rogues Guild, and a Warriors Guild in that order. Recruit four Rangers and have them explore the map to arrest Hooligans. The final Hooligan drops the Wizard’s Book of Spells; defeat them and claim the book. The Book of Spells grants Flame Shield, Teleport, and Fire Blast.

Upgrade your kingdom by getting at least two fully researched Lv. 3 Marketplaces. Consider increasing the Game Speed to speed up Henchmen tasks.

Tips
  • The Wizard's Guild will sell Weapon Enchantments even if you have damaged the building or attacked the Wizard.
  • The mission briefing mentions Heroes and Henchmen acting strangely, but this behavior was not observed.
  • The Angry Wizard will have a randomly generated name.
