    Start by breaking the '?' Box and proceeding up the hill.

    Grab the Aku Aku and drop into the small pit. Kill the two rats to make a mushroom appear for bouncing out.

Secret Area:

  1. Break boxes near the start, then jump across platforms to the right.
  2. Flip turtles by jumping on their shells to kill them.
  3. Continue past two more boxes and a checkpoint.
  4. Jump onto the next platform, then over or on the bird.
  5. Break the box on the next platform, then jump to the next.
  6. Break the two boxes here, then slide and jump to reach the platform with boxes above Nitro.
  7. Jump down to the platform with the Arrow Crate. Break it, then jump to the platform on the right.
  8. Jump onto the pink bird's back and quickly jump to the platform with boxes. You have limited time before it lowers.
  9. Jump onto the next bird and then to the platform with a single box. Break it for a life.
  10. Drop down and break the boxes.
  11. Proceed right, jump over the bird.
  12. On the last platform, break the '!' Box to destroy Nitro and the normal box. Ride the platform back up.

Getting the Blue Gem:

  1. Finish the level without breaking ANY boxes. The Blue Gem will appear at the end.
  2. Note: There's a checkpoint in an enclosed area with a wall of boxes behind it. To get past these, slide and then jump.
Tips
  • When in mud, you cannot break boxes.
  • Jump on turtles' shells to flip them, then jump on them again to bounce.
  • Use the mushroom platforms that appear after killing rats to escape pits.
  • The '!' Box in the Secret Area destroys all Nitro boxes.
