Level 21: Piston it Away

From the start, move forward and break the four boxes.

To your right, a piston on the ceiling will descend. Wait for it to move up before passing underneath to avoid being crushed.

Jump to the next platforms and slide into the enemy with a ringed neck.

At the end of the platform on the right, drop down and slide into another enemy with a ringed neck.

Jump over the pit to encounter a piston on the ground that moves upwards. Use it as an elevator to ascend.

Get off the piston, move right, and defeat the enemy with a ringed neck.

To your right are four pistons on the ceiling. Pass under them sequentially as they ascend to reach the other side.

Jump over the next pit and break the box.

To your right, a new enemy can shock you with its arm attacks. Jump on it to defeat it.

Past this enemy, there is a piston on the ground. Jump on it to be taken upwards.

A gap to your right contains another piston on the ground. Wait for this piston to descend, then jump across and onto it.

Let this piston take you up to the platforms on the right.

Defeat the enemy with the shocking arms and enter the small alcove with boxes.

Jump on the arrow box and bounce on the bounce box until it breaks.

Bounce to the next arrow box and break all boxes above it.

Break the two arrow boxes and continue right.

Jump to the next platforms and slide into the enemy with a ringed neck.

Pass under the piston when safe and jump on top of the enemy with shocking arms.

Go under the next piston and defeat the enemy with shocking arms.

Follow the path right and break open the checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death).

To the right, defeat the enemy with shocking arms, being careful as its arms are raised above its head; slide into or spin it.

Jump onto the next platforms and defeat the enemy with shocking arms.

Drop down to the next platforms and defeat the enemy with shocking arms, noting its arms alternate between up and down.

Go right to a pit with pistons on both sides. When the first piston (closest to you) rises, stand under it and immediately jump across when the second piston rises.

Pass under the second piston and jump to the next platforms.

Defeat the enemy with shocking arms, which switches between arms up and down.

Go under the next piston and slide into the enemy with a ringed neck.

Break the box and slide/crawl under the pipe.

Slide into the enemy with a ringed neck immediately after the pipe.

Slide/crawl under the next pipe, watching out for the enemy with shocking arms on the other side, which has its arms up near the pipe. Slide under the pipe and into this enemy.

Jump over the next pit to the platforms on the right.

Enter the alcove with boxes, break the three boxes, and exit without hitting Nitro boxes.

To the right, defeat the enemy with shocking arms moving between two hot pipes; jump over the first set of pipes and onto the enemy when its arms are down.

To the right of the next hot pipes, wait for the enemy with shocking arms to move right, then jump over the pipes and wait for it to approach. Slide or spin to defeat it when its arms are up.

Go as far right as possible and jump up to the next platforms to defeat the enemy with shocking arms, which moves its arms. Jump up and slide/spin to defeat it when it moves right.

Go right to a pit with pistons on both sides that move up and down simultaneously. Jump across the pit and pass the second piston when they rise.

Go right and grab the CRYSTAL.

Go forward and break open the next checkpoint.

Slide into one of the two enemies with ringed necks moving back and forth.

Break the Aku Aku box and jump over the hot pipes on the right.

Quickly slide into the enemy with a ringed neck and jump over the other hot pipes.

If you can reach this point without dying, you can take the SKULL PLATFORM PATH to collect all boxes. Otherwise, continue to the end of the level to collect remaining boxes and return for the skull platform.

If you do not take the skull platform path immediately, go right to some pipes to slide under.

On the other side, defeat the enemy with shocking arms by sliding under the pipe when its arms move away, then spinning or sliding into it.

To the right, jump on a strange contraption, then slide and jump over the shocking enemy onto a metal platform with an arrow. Immediately jump off this platform to the next one on the right to avoid a projectile launched by the contraption.

Break the box.
