    Start by grabbing the firefly at the beginning of the level.

    Jump over the first pit and defeat the mouse.

BONUS STAGE:

  1. Go right on the first platform; the firefly will move right.
  2. Follow the firefly and jump across the first two platforms with Wumpa Fruit.
  3. Jump to the next platform and break all five boxes.
  4. Jump up to the next platform and jump over the two Nitro boxes.
  5. At the end, jump down to the metal boxes.
  6. Hop onto the TNT; its explosion will activate the ! Box below.
  7. This also activates the three outlined boxes past the metal boxes. The firefly will wait.
  8. Jump onto the activated boxes and walk across.
  9. Jump down to the stacks of boxes and break them all.
  10. Jump to the platform on the right, break the two boxes, and jump on the ? platform to return to the level.

  • The level is similar to Level 23: Night Fight, featuring darkness and fireflies.
  • There is no crystal in this level; the only collectible is the gem.
  • Use your spin attack to locate the reinforced boxes in the dark by sound.
  • In the bonus stage, follow the firefly carefully across the platforms.
