The Beginning Achievements

Several achievements are unlocked naturally as you progress through the early stages of the game:

• Deal with the Devil: Awarded for choosing to start a cult for the "One Who Waits."
• Indoctrinate First Follower: Unlocked after meeting Ratau and indoctrinating your first follower.
• Defeat First Mini-Boss: Earned by defeating your initial mini-boss encounter.
• Choose First Doctrine: Unlocked after selecting your first doctrine.
• Perform First Ritual: Awarded for performing your first ritual, a story-related event.
• Win a Game of Knucklebones: Achieved by winning a game of Knucklebones. Learning this game is also necessary for a later, more difficult achievement.
• First Follower Dies of Old Age: Unlocked when your first follower passes away due to old age.
• Sacrifice a Follower: Earned after performing your first follower sacrifice. It is recommended to sacrifice followers regularly, as there is an achievement for sacrificing 10 followers.
• Follower Meat: This achievement is related to obtaining follower meat. It can be acquired from dead followers (after sacrifice or natural death) or by destroying wrapped-up dead bodies found in the world, potentially from Chemach.
