Observe their attack patterns; most enemies have predictable wind-ups before their strikes. Learning to time your dodges to evade these attacks is critical. A well-timed dodge can provide an opening for a counter-attack. Similarly, mastering the parry mechanic, which involves deflecting an incoming attack with precise timing, can stun enemies, leaving them vulnerable to a flurry of blows. This is especially effective against tougher foes like the Jaguar Warrior.

As you move through the initial chambers, you will begin to find various resources. Keep an eye out for health pickups, which are essential for sustaining your run. You will also discover weapons and relics. Weapons are your primary means of dealing damage, and each has a distinct feel and moveset. Experiment with the starting weapons to see which one best suits your combat style. Relics, on the other hand, offer passive bonuses or active abilities that can significantly alter your capabilities. Some relics might increase your damage output, while others could provide defensive buffs or unique utility. Be mindful of the temple's layout. The levels are procedurally generated, meaning each run will present a different arrangement of rooms, enemies, and rewards. Look for hidden paths or breakable walls, as these often lead to valuable loot or shortcuts. The temple is also littered with environmental hazards, such as spike traps and explosive barrels. Learn to recognize and utilize these to your advantage, perhaps by luring enemies into traps or detonating barrels to clear out groups of foes.
