Minigame Controls:
Pool Hopping
- Controls: Triangle, Square, Cross, Circle buttons. Right thumbstick for camera (not needed).
- Goal: Get to the other side first without falling in. Solo matches cannot be failed, but you can restart. Bonus for time.
- Warning: Controls can be unreliable; allow a short pause between hops and leaps.
- Short press any of the 4 buttons for a small hop.
- Hold and release any of the 4 buttons for a long leap.
- Extra points for timing and pressing the matching button with the platform.
- If a gap between platforms is 0, a hop is required.
- If a gap is 1, or you are on the first of 3 platforms, a leap is required.
- It is not recommended to play against Hard or Extreme Difficulty girls as they are heavily imbalanced.
- You just have to win 10 times, not against the same character or with the same character.
Butt Battle
- Controls: D-Pad or left thumbstick (instead of Circle button). .
- Goal: Hit your opponent into the water 3 times.
- Circle starts the match.
- Normal attack: Circle, right on D-Pad, or right on thumbstick.
- Dodge: Left on D-Pad or left on thumbstick.
- Strong attack: Left on D-Pad/thumbstick and press Circle, or left and immediately back right on D-Pad/thumbstick.
- Sidestep: Up or down on D-Pad and thumbstick.
- Mashing buttons can be helpful as moves can cancel opponent's moves, but be careful of repeated normal attacks putting you close enough for a strong attack.
- .
- .
Tug-of-War
- Controls: D-Pad (instead of thumbsticks). .
- Goal: Pull or push your opponent into the water 3 times.
- Pull rope towards you: Left on thumbstick or D-Pad.
- Loosen rope (feint): Right on thumbstick or D-Pad.
- Recovery button (X button): Repeatedly pressing X is supposed to be a recovery button but it almost never works and leaves you open. It seems to only work after you have been unsuccessfully pulled, but will not work to save you with a follow-up pull or when you fall after a feint.
- It is recommended to start the match by feinting, but watch your opponent and wait. If you feint while they are pulling, they will fall in, and the same will happen to you. If you pull when they are not acting, they will fall in or become off-balanced.
- Tug-of-War is the most unreliable minigame in consistency of opponent.
- .
- .
Beach Flags
- Controls: Cross button to start, spam Cross button to run, Circle button to dive. .
- Goal: Lay on the floor, run to the end of the beach, and grab the flag.
- Do not press Cross too early (on or after announcer starts) or you forfeit.
- Spamming Cross is your run speed.
- Circle button is a dive. Press when close to the flag to grab it. Pressing too early causes a roll and slows you down.
- Can be done at either beaches.
- Playing against an Easy girl makes them much slower, and an accidental dive will not hinder you.
- It is the fastest minigame to compete in, but has a low reward rate.
- .
