During the chapter ‘The Painter’, look for origami figures on a bookshelf on the left side of the room. These are a clear reference to Quantic Dream's game, Heavy Rain.

Heavy Rain and Movie References
In ‘Battle for Detroit’, when Kara picks up a gun, a background movie theatre displays titles like Heavy Rain, Beyond 2 Souls, To The Infinite and Beyond, Noman Soul, and Jungle 2. Heavy Rain and Beyond 2 Souls are direct references to Quantic Dream's previous games. 'To Infinity and Beyond' is a nod to Disney's Toy Story.

Chloe
Chloe, the main menu android, reacts to your choices and game events. After your first playthrough, she will ask to leave. If you say no, she resets for a new playthrough. If you say yes, she leaves permanently.

Secret Endings
A peaceful playthrough (no kills, no main character deaths) results in a secret ending where Connor and Hank hug. A violent playthrough where everyone dies leads to a secret ending in the Zen Garden with Amanda, where Connor is told he will be decommissioned.

In ‘Battle for Detroit’, one of the CyberLife guards escorting you to the elevator is named 'Agent 47', a reference to the Hitman franchise.

If you get Connor killed at every opportunity, you earn the trophy 'I'LL BE BACK', a direct quote from the Terminator franchise. Connor's name may also be inspired by John Connor.
