Learn about Vampire Levels in The Elder Scrolls VI, including sun damage, appearance changes, and how to advance powers. Avoid sun damage by feeding.
Walkthrough
- 1To advance your Vampirism Levels, you must sleep or wait 24 hours after not feeding.
- 2As you progress through Vampirism Levels, your powers increase, but you become more sensitive to light.
- 3At Level 4 Vampirism (100% Vampire powers), most people will refuse to talk to you unless you raise their Disposition with Vampiric Seduction powers.
- 4Guards will typically only offer the option to run or fight if they are pursuing you as a Level 4 Vampire.
- 5Your appearance will age approximately 15 to 25 years, with a wrinkled and pale complexion. Human characters may develop red eyes and lose facial hair.
- 6If you reach Level 4 Vampirism and cure yourself, you cannot become a Vampire again.
Sun Damage:
- Sunlight between 6 AM and 8 PM causes continuous, fast-acting damage to your health.
- Damage is magnified by the sun's brightness; high noon with no clouds is the worst.
- Clouds overhead, being underwater, or being near a Gate to Oblivion can reduce or stop sun damage.
- As a Level 2 Vampire or above, you cannot fast travel during the day due to sun damage; travel is only possible at night, except from your house in Anvil.
- You cannot wait outside during the day; waiting will cause damage multiplied by 3600 per hour of daylight.
- To stop sun damage, you must feed and return to a Level 1 Vampire. Remaining at Level 1 is possible by not sleeping, waiting, or resting after feeding.
Feeding:
- Locate a sleeping person, sneak up, and select the 'Feed' option when prompted.
- Feeding does not harm the person or turn them into a Vampire.
- Others witnessing you feed will alert the Guards.
- Feeding in Guild Halls you are a member of is safer as it won't alert others to trespassing.
- Be cautious feeding on Guards as they wake up easily.
