Learn how to complete Survival, Speed Race, Owlet Rescue, and Bomber Challenge missions in Endless Legend, plus enemy and boss details.
Walkthrough
- 1Survival: Defeat several waves of enemies. Coins are available, but avoid them to save time. The Corkscrew ability can be very effective here.
- 2Speed Race: Follow a set path through rings within a specified time. Coins are available, but avoid them unless they are directly in your path. Equip your fastest battleset for these races.
- 3Owlet Rescue: You must rescue Owlets from marauding enemies and return them to the nest where you began the Mission. Fly to any of the Star blips on the radar (a display showing nearby enemies and objectives), and chase the enemy down. Try to take shortcuts or cut off the flight path of the enemy to get close enough to grab the Owlet. Once you have the Owlet, race back to the nest, avoiding attacking enemies by using your Corkscrew and/or Wind Tunnels. Three rescued Owlets will end the Mission.
- 4Bomber Challenge: You must destroy a certain amount of enemy installations in a short amount of time. Enemy types include Fire Carriers, flying enemies, and Catapults. Grab Hot Coals, target and destroy the Catapults, and avoid or counterattack the flying enemies' attacks. Focusing on Catapult destruction is a fairly easy way to get a gold medal.
Tips
- For Survival and Speed Race, avoiding coins can save valuable time.
- Use shortcuts and cut off enemy flight paths during Owlet Rescue.
- Focus on destroying Catapults in the Bomber Challenge for an easier gold medal.
Scroll Locations:

- Bottom of the main tree, next to the water.
- On the side of a small mountain near the speed challenge.
- At the top of the tree, above some branches.
- In a cove below the Survival challenge.
- In the upper part of the tree trunk, near lighted windows.
The Desert of Kuneer
- At the start, head left to a small lake - in the wall next to the lake.
- In the flat desert, east of the survival challenge, near dead trees.
- Far into the canyon lands, at the main bat sanctuary.
- On top of high-ridge mountains, north of all challenges.
- In a canyon on a small lake, near an area with 4-5 large trees on a top plateau.
The Forest Kingdom of Tyto
- Middle of a small lake, east of the Wind Tunnel in a river canyon.
- Lake at the top of the waterfall.
- On a smaller mountain to the left (facing the waterfall).
- NW side of a Large Mountain, in an area with light gray terrain.
- High in the sky west of a huge pillar-like mountain on the river.
The Glauxian Brothers Retreat (Sun is considered to be in the WEST)
- In between the ridges near the top of the huge mountain.

- On the ice arches on the frozen river, fly with your left side to the high wall over the water, and keep looking right.
- Near pounding pillars and fleck towers in the east (in between all pounding pillars).
- Get out on the coastline, near where the river empties into the sea, go south along the coast with the outcroppings. It is right near the corner of the no-fly zone, close to the sea.
The Beaks
- Under the huge part of the spire (beak) you're facing at the start of the mission.
- West from the first scroll, in the foot of a mountain near the ridge.
- In the middle of the level, the river splits and heads through two spires; the scroll is in one of the spires.

- Along the wall near the Bombing challenge, there is a cave that's on the water. On top of this cave is a small plateau with the Scroll on it.
Enemies:
- Bat Scout: A weak aerial enemy.
- Crow: A medium strength and defense aerial enemy.
- Pure One: An armored Owl enemy. Their armor must first be destroyed with a barge attack before they can be damaged by Wingmen. They recover quickly from Throw attacks.
- Pure One Scout: Weaker than regular Pure Ones, they do not wear armor but are faster.
- Pure One Elite: Stronger than regular Pure Ones, with full armor (3 plates).
- Pure One Protector: Similar to other Pure Ones, wears body armor.
- Catapult: Launches a large boulder periodically. Not very accurate, but can hit you if you fly in a straight path. Destroy with Hot Coals.
- Ballista: Similar to the catapult, but fires faster and with more accuracy. Destroy with Hot Coals.
- Bat Hideout: An enemy structure built by bats. Destroy with Hot Coals.
- Fleck Tower: A blue, obelisk-like tower that helps create a Fleck Beam. Destroy with Hot Coals.
- Fiery Furnace: Only present in one level. Does not attack, but emits steam at intervals that make it invulnerable.
Boss Enemies:
- Bat Chieftain: Fought at the end of The Desert of Kuneer. Can only be damaged by Hot Coals. This boss is a faster and trickier flier than regular bats. Focus on the Chieftain and refilling your Hot Coals, while avoiding other bats.
- Hagsfiend Queen: Fought at the end of The Glauxian Brothers missions. Summons bats to create a force field. She is a tricky flier and difficult to combo against. You must first destroy the bats creating the force field before damaging her. After a short time or a set amount of damage, she will re-summon bats and recreate her force field. The strategy is to take out the bats, attack her, and repeat.
- Final Boss: Fought at the end of the final mission. Use Hot Coals while pursuing him to damage him before the true final fight. This battle takes place in a very tight area, so pay close attention to your surroundings. Keep him in sight at all times to avoid getting pinned against a corner.
