Lore Fragments

Lore Fragments are crucial for understanding the rich history and tragic fall of the Old World. Collecting all fragments unlocks exclusive lore entries and provides significant experience bonuses.

• The Shattered Scroll of Eldoria:
  • Location: Found within the crumbling ruins of the Sunken Citadel, specifically in the library wing. Access to this area requires you to first defeat the 'Grave Warden' mini-boss.
  • Strategy: After defeating the Grave Warden, proceed through the newly opened archway. The library is on your immediate left. The scroll is tucked away on a high shelf; use your 'Leap' ability to reach the upper platform and then interact with the glowing object.
• Whispers of the Northern Wastes:
  • Location: Deep within the Frostfang Caves, accessible after completing the 'Cry of the Mammoth' side quest. The fragment is guarded by a pack of 'Icefang Wolves'.
  • Strategy: Navigate the treacherous ice caverns until you reach a large open chamber with a frozen waterfall. The fragment is behind the waterfall, but you'll need to defeat the Icefang Wolves first. Consider using fire-based enchantments on your weapons for this encounter.
• A Note to the Survivor:
  • Location: Discovered in the hidden cellar beneath the 'Forgotten Hamlet' in the Verdant Plains. The cellar entrance is concealed by a loose floorboard.
  • Strategy: In the Forgotten Hamlet, locate the dilapidated inn. Enter the inn and look for a worn rug near the fireplace. Interact with the rug to reveal the hidden floorboard. Descend into the cellar, and the note will be on a dusty table.

Relics of the Old Gods

These powerful artifacts grant permanent stat bonuses or unlock unique combat abilities. There are a total of 12 Relics of the Old Gods scattered throughout the game. Each relic is tied to a specific deity or ancient power, and their discovery often involves solving environmental puzzles or overcoming formidable guardians.

• Amulet of the Sky-Singer:
  • Location: Perched atop the highest peak of the 'Whispering Spires'. Reaching it requires careful platforming and the use of your 'Grapple Hook' ability.
  • Strategy: From the base of the Whispering Spires, follow the winding mountain path. At the first major chasm, use your Grapple Hook to cross. Continue ascending, looking for glowing grapple points. The Amulet is at the very summit, nestled in a bird's nest.
• Gauntlet of the Earth-Shaker:
  • Location: Buried deep within the 'Sunken Mines' in the Ashfall Wastes. You'll need to clear a path through collapsed tunnels.
  • Strategy: Enter the Sunken Mines from the main entrance. Follow the main tunnel until you encounter a large rockfall blocking your path. Use your 'Explosive Charge' ability (unlocked after the 'Demolition Expert' quest) to clear the debris. The Gauntlet is in a small cavern beyond.
• Chalice of the Deep:
  • Location: Submerged in the central lake of the 'Mirefen Swamps'. Accessing it requires the 'Water Breathing' enchantment.
  • Strategy: Acquire the Water Breathing enchantment from the 'Hermit of the Reeds' in the eastern part of the Mirefen Swamps. Once enchanted, dive into the large central lake. The Chalice is at the very bottom, near a cluster of glowing coral. Be wary of 'Mire Lurkers' in the area.

• Entry 007: A Soldier's Lament:
  • Location: Tucked inside a broken barrel near the main gate of 'Fort Ironclad'.
  • Strategy: Approach Fort Ironclad's main entrance. Before entering, look to the right of the gate. The barrel is next to a fallen siege engine.
