Forza Motorsport 7 is the seventh iteration of the Forza Motorsport series and the tenth main title of the Forza series. It was released on October 3, 2017, for Xbox One and Windows 10, and as a launch title for Xbox One X on November 7, 2017. Both PC and Xbox One X versions support native 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. The game is playable on Xbox Series X|S and Windows 11 via backwards compatibility. As of September 15, 2021, the game and its DLC are no longer purchasable due to its end-of-life status, though existing owners retain access.

Gameplay Changes:

  1. General: Features over 700 Forzavista cars, 30 racing environments with over 200 ribbons, and dynamic weather. Players can customize Drivatar gender, body type, and clothing, with over 375 unlockable Driver Gear sets. The Forza Driver's Cup campaign includes six championships with various performance classes. Points earned unlock cars and Drivatar customization, with better rewards for higher tier levels. A friction assist minimizes speed loss off-track or on wet roads. Mods, driver gear, and badges can be purchased from the Race Shop.
  2. Cars: Volkswagen cars return. Toyota and Lexus production cars are absent for the first time, though Toyota race cars and pre-tuned models like the Toyota Hilux Arctic Trucks AT38 are included. The Speciality Dealer offers discounted rare cars.
  3. Customization: More widebody kits are available than in Forza Horizon 3, including fictional Turn 10 designs and professional motorsport-inspired aero enhancements. Some are exclusive to Forza Edition cars. Custom wheels from Forza Horizon 3 return, alongside new race-inspired designs.
