CHAPTER 1: Homefront

As the chapter begins, turn around and look behind the crates to find 1 Component.

Head outside and proceed forward until Clayton deploys a beacon. Advance past the Drones and Carriers that appear.

After the Carriers are killed, drop down and proceed to Cole's location. Climb up the car and Cole will lift it so you can reach the building.

Once inside, look right to find 3 Components.

Advance through the building and go down the stairs. Straight ahead on the floor, next to a downed chair, you will find the 1st Collectible (Encyclopedia of Tyran military history).

Head down the stairs on the left. On the ground floor, a Swarmak will appear. Before engaging, go left to find the ultimate upgrade for Jack's barrier ability.

Face the Swarmak by aiming for its blisters and changing (cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects)). Advance through the left building to get around it, dealing with Drones inside. Drop down and proceed to the next building, which also contains Drones.

Once you reach the objective, a Warden will engage. After defeating it, Marcus will deploy the beacon. Grab the targeting laser and fire it on the Swarmak.

After defeating the Swarmak, Marcus will open a door. Proceed through it.

Climb down the stairs and exit the building. Go right to find 5 Components on the right side of the street.

Go to the opposite side of the street to find the 2nd Collectible (ruptured gear helmet) on the ground.

Head down the street, slide down, and enter the collapsed building.

Proceed past the pods. You will find two paths; both lead to the same spot, but the second path has more components. After passing through the pods, jump the second column to find 3 Components on the ground.

Proceed to the objective and enter the open area.

Defeat the Swarm Drones and Stump that engage. You can hack the Stump to help clear the Drones.

After clearing the area, go up the path and find a grid on the ground. Send Jack to open it and head down. Cut the cables and advance through the building, then crouch through the opening to get outside.

You will find the Tomb of the Unknowns. From where you exited the building, look straight ahead to see components in the distance. Advance on the street and turn left before the staircase to find 3 Components on the ground.

Go to the end of the street and look right after passing a car full of debris to find the 3rd Collectible (Cog Tags: Minh Young Kim).

Head to the Tombs entrance and look right to find the 4th and last Collectible (Restoration notice: Tomb of the unknowns) hanging on the wall. Enter the Tomb.

Inside, you will face a Pouncer. Advance to find Paduk surrounded by enemies. Defeat the Pouncer first, then the Drones. Use grenades to close Swarm holes. Regroup with Paduk.

A new wave of enemies will appear, including Hunters. Focus on the Hunters before closing Swarm holes. A Scion and a Bastion will appear; defeat them. Then, a Warden and another Bastion will appear. Keep your distance and finish the Bastion before defeating the Warden.

Go to Paduk and send Jack to recover the Beacon.

Get the Beacon and deploy it behind the Tomb. Use the targeting laser to defend against a horde of Swarm enemies, including Scions, a Pouncer, and a Snatcher.

After defeating the Snatcher, a (cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically)) will trigger, followed by a quick time event. Make your choice to end the chapter.
