Find all 7 collectibles in Gears 5's 'Shot in the Dark' chapter, including Weathered Spectacles and COG Tags: Fallen Azura Gear.
Walkthrough
- 1As you land on the island, go right to find the 1st Collectible (Weathered Spectacles) on a rock in a narrow space.
- 2Continue by the border towards the waterfall. Near a turbine-like object in the water, head left before going uphill to find the 2nd Collectible (Onyx Guard Challenge Coin) on the ground near plants.
- 3Proceed to the objective. At the debris-blocked entrance, go left then right to a platform. Follow Dave through the tunnel until it collapses. Drop down and follow the ledge. After picking up ammo and Grenades (command Dave to fetch them), head left to a dormitory-like room. In the locker room, after picking up ammo from the sink, look left to find the 3rd Collectible (Wellness Advisory Poster) on the wall.
- 4Proceed and cut through cables. After structures fall, use Dave's Pulse ability to scan enemies ahead. Silently kill the first Drone if possible. After dispatching enemies, help Kait lift the grid. Drop down and follow pipes to a tunnel. Kill the Grenadier (caution: they use helmets for headshots and shotguns). Close the Swarm Hole with grenades and dispatch enemies. Cut cables on the inoperant silo.
- 5In the open area, go right to find a hatch. Grab the Retro Lancer, then jump down the hatch into a tunnel. Dispatch Juvies. Use Dave to open the door, slide down, and take ammo. Crouch through an opening into a large area with a Swarm Hole. Mark enemies for Kait and Marcus. Use red barrels and the Boomshot on the second barricade to your advantage. The path splits; take one.
- 6In the next area, defeat the Carrier. You can call Guardians or DR-1s as reinforcements.
- 7Keep forward to a locked door. Command Dave to use the panel on the wall to unlock it. After passing the second door, retrieve Frag Grenades on the left. In the room Dave opened on the right, find a Retro Lancer. Go to the infirmary ahead. Among corpses right after the entrance, find a Snub Pistol and the 4th Collectible (COG Tags: Fallen Azura Gear).
- 8Climb the stairs. In the first room on the left, then right, enter the office. On a desk, find the 5th Collectible (chairman's wristwatch). A Boltok is on the opposite side of the room.
- 9Head back to the corridor. Go right for frag grenades, then crouch to advance.
- 10A Scion will appear. Evade Juvies while focusing fire on the Scion, using red barrels. After killing them, dispatch Drones on the other side of the room. Go to the left room to find the 6th Collectible (Lightmass Missile Strike Authorization) on a paper in a panel.
- 11Head back. Send Dave to unlock a vent on the right side of the locked door. Enter the room and go forward to find the 7th and final Collectible (UIR Hammer of Dawn Blueprints) on the desk.
- 12Go to the right room and command Dave to open the safe behind the desk. Collect the external drive to complete the objective.
- 13Open the door on the right. In the corridor, go right for a Boomshot and explosives. Reach the control room with the rocket silo. Use the Dropshot on the left for cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) and kill enemies.
- 14Open the panel for Dave to start the launch sequence. Manually override when the hatch won't open. Enter the rocket room with Del. Send Dave to hack the panel after the gap to lower the platform and kill enemies. Repeat this three times to reach the stairs. Climb the stairs, then use a falling crate as cover to kill a grenadier. Proceed as another grenadier jumps onto the platform.

- Guardians are flying drones with Triguns, and DR-1s are walking robots with Triguns.
- The Dropshot can be useful for cover and engaging enemies in the control room.
