Part 7

Part 7 of Golf With Your Friends covers Rank 6 golfers, facing Jason, and unlocking Custom Clubs. Learn about penalties and rewards.

The golf levels for Rank 6 range from 6-10 without Serious Mode. With Serious Mode enabled, the levels are the same as Rank 5. The 100 golfers in this rank and their golf levels are:

3150 EXP is needed to encounter a VS character in this rank. Four 9-hole tournaments or two 18-hole tournaments will provide enough EXP to make one appear. Once you have the EXP, you will face Jason, the second member of Team Thwack. He focuses on power and uses a Big Air club. Along with Hikari, he will discuss Ultra Spin. This match includes a penalty for not hitting within 15 seconds. Championship Tees will be in use for this rank overall in these matches. Defeating Jason rewards you with his parts, voice over, and the Body: Male 5.

If you have achieved at least 150 official birdies, Souha will appear as the fourth secret VS character after you get another one. He is the captain of Team Thwack.

Accumulate enough EXP again, and you will face Kamilla, the vice-captain of Team Sniper. She will use a Super Low Ball, resulting in shots with very low trajectory. This is another Championship Tees match. There is a penalty for using Power Mode in this match, so refrain from doing so. Defeating her rewards you with her parts and voice over.

If you have achieved at least 50 official eagles, Ivan will appear at the Home Area as a secret VS opponent and the captain of Team Sniper after you achieve another one. The course he plays on is the last unlocked course after this rank is cleared.

VERY IMPORTANT: Before facing the final main boss, quit and restart the application for Golf With Your Friends. If you defeat him without exiting the application, the ending movie will freeze the game.

One final time for EXP gains, you will face the final boss of Rank 6, Adam, a member of Team Almighty. This is your first match against a CUSTOM CLUBS user. Along with Championship Tees, there is a penalty for hitting into the rough OR the bunker, so stay sharp. Adam is not overly difficult if you know the course well. Upon defeating him, you will receive his parts and voice over, and you will be able to use Custom Clubs yourself. You will also unlock the Imperial Garden course. After this, the ending movie will play.

Rank 7 aka Special Rank

Welcome to the Special Rank! There is no more EXP to earn. Rank 7 features the last 200 challenge tourney golfers, all of whom have golf levels ranging from 8 to 14. Enabling Serious Mode will increase their levels by 1. You can also shuffle golfers from both Rank 6 and Rank 7. If you have the Akigase Keikoku DLC (downloadable content — extra missions or items released after launch) course, tours for that course can appear in this rank.
