Master the Gran Turismo 5 Super License tests with expert tips and strategies for Monza, Trial Mountain, Nurburgring, and more. Achieve Gold on every test!

Walkthrough:

  1. Test 1: Monza
Be 8th by the first chicane (brake at the 2nd sign), 4th after the second chicane (brake at the track shadow). Pass the next car going into the S-curves, and another at the first S-curve. Draft the leader into the final turn, use late braking to get inside, and push them out of the way for the win.
  2. Test 2: Trial Mountain Circuit
Be 10th by the first tunnel, 7th by the second. Pass the yellow Vette before the straightaway to be 6th. On the critical next left turn, pass at least two cars, then the third immediately after. Catch the 2nd place car on the first sharp right, and see 1st place as you accelerate. Catch the leader on the last left turn before the S-curve and straight.
  3. Test 3: Nurburgring GP
Be 5th coming out of the first hairpin, 3rd by the end of the looping left-right combo. Follow the top two cars until you can pass them, likely at the bottom of the track. Be aware the 1st place car might hit you in the final chicane; allow extra braking room to stop them.
  4. Test 4: Tokyo Route 246
Be 5th coming out of the first right turn. Be patient until the long, looping right curve to catch 4th. Catch 3rd after that curve or in the subsequent short S-curve. If you haven't passed everyone, use the two wider right turns to pass the remaining cars, or at least the 3rd place car. The final sharp right turn is another opportunity to pass the last two.
  5. Test 5: Laguna Seca
Be 10th or 9th after the first left, then 4th by the end of the consecutive rights. Pass the next car coming out of the next sharp left, then be 2nd when braking for the corkscrew. Try to pass the leader before the last sharp left turn.
  6. Test 6: Madrid
Be 4th after the first hairpin, then 1st by the second hairpin. Drive smoothly as you are in the fastest car.
  7. Test 7: Top Gear
Be 10th slowing for the first left turn. Dodge the next four cars without hitting cones to be 6th (or 5th) on the next straight. Get left of traffic, brake late, and push the 3rd place car into the cones. Pass 2nd on the inside of the next curve. Stay patient; the leader is only slower on the last two turns. Brake about 3 car lengths after the line on the final approach to the last corner to pass. Note: Contact is allowed and encouraged to avoid being pushed into cones.
  8. Test 8: Suzuka
Be 8th coming out of the first right turn, and 5th after the
