Shop Upgrades: Shops offer various upgrades to enhance gameplay. These include:

• Health Regen Boost: Increases healing from health orbs. Level 1 costs $1750, increasing healing from 5HP to 6.5HP. Level 2 costs $????, further increasing healing to 8HP.

Stamina Delay Boost: Reduces the wait time before stamina regeneration begins. Level 1 costs $1750, and Level 2 costs $3500.

Stamina Regen Boost: Increases the speed of stamina regeneration once it starts. Level 1 costs $1750, and Level 2 costs $3500.

Respawn Boost: Decreases respawn time in two-player mode. Level 1 costs $1250, and Level 2 costs $????. This is a waste for single-player but necessary for achievements.

Stun Boost: Reduces the number of hits needed to throw an enemy by 1. Costs $5000.

Stamina Chunks: Three Stamina Chunks are available for purchase at shops:

• First Chunk: $1000

Second Chunk: $2000

Third Chunk: $4000

Orbs of Chac Mool: These are generally the most challenging collectibles. Gathering all of them allows you to fly as a chicken (infinite double jumps) and unlocks the good ending after defeating Calaca. Orb locations are often foreshadowed by distinctive statues.

• Orb of Patience: Found in Agave Field. Look for a statue where Juan's house would be in the dead world.

Orb of Speed: Found in Forest del Chivo. Two statues are present in the forest, one near a skull lever and another on a stone block to the far left.

Orb of Old-School Platforming: Found in Sierra Morena. The first indoor room features a statue on its right side.

Orb of New-School Platforming: Found in Tule Tree. A statue is located beneath a blue block under the Tule Tree.

Orb of Combat: Found in Caverna del Pollo. A toppled statue is visible below an overhang near the door to Chac Mool after taking an elevator down.

Costumes: Costumes are unlockable at any store and offer unique gameplay benefits and drawbacks. They remain unlocked across new game files.

• Pollo Luchador: Acquired at any store for $????. Grants HP regeneration after taking damage for 5 seconds, but slows stamina regeneration.

Juanita/Tostado: Acquired at any store for $????. Increases attack damage to 1.5x but reduces throw range significantly. Throw damage remains unchanged.

Skeleton: Acquired at any store for $????. Provides infinite stamina for special moves but prevents healing from health orbs, requiring reliance on shops for health.

El Portero: Acquired by earning 10 bronze medals in El Infierno. (Details on its effects are cut off in the source text).
