Mission 1.1: The First Contract

Step-by-step guide for Mission 1.1: The First Contract in GUNTOUCHABLES, including meeting Whisper and retrieving the Data Shard.

Objective: Meet 'Whisper' at the Black Market Entrance.

1. From your apartment, head out into the alley. Follow the objective marker on your mini-map.
2. Navigate through the crowded streets of the Lower Sector. Be mindful of patrolling gang members; avoid unnecessary confrontations for now.
3. Upon reaching the Black Market Entrance, a short cutscene will trigger, introducing Whisper.

Objective: Retrieve the 'Data Shard' from the abandoned warehouse.

1. Whisper will provide you with a basic pistol and direct you to the warehouse.
2. Proceed to the warehouse district. This area will introduce you to your first combat encounters. Utilize cover (Q) and dodge (double-tap movement) to survive.
3. Clear out the initial group of 'Scavengers' guarding the entrance. Focus fire on one enemy at a time.
4. Enter the warehouse. There are multiple levels. Work your way through, eliminating resistance. Look for explosive barrels to create environmental hazards.
5. The Data Shard is located on the top floor, guarded by a 'Scavenger Boss'. This boss has slightly more health and uses a shotgun. Keep your distance and aim for headshots.
6. Once the boss is down, interact with the glowing console to retrieve the Data Shard.

Objective: Return to Whisper.

1. Exit the warehouse and make your way back to Whisper's location.
2. A brief dialogue will conclude the mission, rewarding you with credits and XP.
