Mission 1.2: Echoes in the Dark

Investigate 'Glitch' anomalies and visual distortions in GUNTOUCHABLES Mission 1.2: Echoes in the Dark within the abandoned data center in Sector 7.

Objective: Investigate the 'Glitch' reports in Sector 7.

1. After speaking with Whisper, head to the designated fast travel point and select Sector 7.
2. Upon arrival, you'll notice strange visual distortions and flickering lights. This indicates the presence of 'Glitch' anomalies.
3. Follow the objective marker to the abandoned data center. Be cautious; the Glitch manifests as corrupted drones and spectral entities.

Objective: Neutralize the Glitch Source.

1. Enter the data center. The Glitch drones are fast but have low health. Use your pistol's alt-fire (if available) for area damage.
2. The spectral entities are immune to direct gunfire but can be damaged by environmental interactions (e.g., shooting power conduits near them).
3. Navigate through the server rooms, clearing out Glitch manifestations. You'll encounter 'Corrupted Sentinels', which are tougher drone variants. Aim for their glowing core.
4. The Glitch Source is located in the central server core. It's a stationary anomaly that spawns continuous Glitch entities.
5. To neutralize it, you must overload three power conduits surrounding the core. Shoot each conduit until it explodes.
6. Once all three conduits are destroyed, the Glitch Source will dissipate, completing the objective.

Objective: Report back to Whisper.

1. Return to the fast travel point and head back to Whisper's location.
2. A new dialogue option will appear, allowing you to report your findings. This mission introduces you to the supernatural elements of Neo-Kyoto.
