Alright, let's talk about the Aspect of Lucifer in Hades II. Honestly, the regular Attack beam feels a bit underwhelming. It takes too long to charge up for any real damage, and trying to build up its effects is a long shot. Percentage-based damage boons aren't ideal here, and fixed damage or debuffs are also unreliable because of the slow firing speed.

If you're determined to make the beam work, you could try to mimic the Aspect of Zagreus's Attack by combining Flash Fire, Infinity Chamber, and Lightning Strike. The idea is to rely on chain lightning to take enemies out before they reach you. However, even then, you're probably better off using those upgrade slots for Greater Inferno.

The Aspect of Lucifer is a bit like the Aspect of Rama in that its Attack and Special moves don't really mesh well together. The beam attack is just... not great. But, unlike Rama, Lucifer's spammable attack is reliable and doesn't seem to have any real counters among the enemies. It's kind of funny that the weapon's best approach comes from what feels like a secondary effect of its Special – the explosion – which is what you actually upgrade with Titan Blood, not the pulsing beam!

Don't let that fool you, though. This Aspect is a real mixed bag, but it's one I've used to get a Perfect Clear on 32 Heat, so the payoff can be absolutely incredible if you get the right boon setup.

Recommended Upgrades and Boons:

• Complementary Upgrades: Greater Inferno, Triple Bomb, Targeting System
• Complementary Boons: Focus on Special boons that boost percentage damage and ideally apply status effects (think Demeter, Aphrodite, Artemis, Athena). Swift Flourish from Hermes is great for increasing the Special's pulse rate. Hyper Sprint is also useful. For the last slot, whatever half of a Duo boon you're missing can go there, or consider Lightning Strike or Divine Strike.
