This section covers strategies for dealing with enemies like Theseus and Greatshields, focusing on the Heart-Seeking Bow's Aspect of Chiron and Aspect of Hera. It details optimal upgrades and boons for each aspect, as well as effective Cast combinations.

Dealing with Enemies:

Theseus can be outmaneuvered by attacking his back after he throws his spear. Greatshields can be picked off individually after other enemies are cleared, or neutralized with the Piercing Volley Special upgrade.

Aspect of Chiron (Heart-Seeking Bow) Upgrades:

• Ideal: Relentless Volley, Concentrated Volley, Piercing Volley.
• Concentrated Volley: Best for Chiron's Aspect due to single-target focus.
• Relentless Volley: Enhances consecutive hit bonuses from Concentrated Volley.
• Piercing Volley: Effective against shield-bearing or armored enemies.
• Avoid: Upgrades affecting attack range (Twin Shot, Explosive Shot) or targeting (Chain Shot, Triple Shot).

Boons for Aspect of Chiron:

• Attack: Low-frequency boons from Aphrodite, Athena, or Ares.
• Special: High-frequency boons from Demeter (Frost Flourish), Zeus (Thunder Flourish), Dionysus (Drunken Flourish), or Athena.

Note on Boons:

• Frost Flourish and Drunken Flourish add stacks per arrow.
• Thunder Flourish adds a fixed amount of lightning damage per arrow, but typically concentrates only two bolts on a single target with max-level Aspect of Chiron, not one per arrow, for balance reasons. Other Bow Aspects may distribute lightning to multiple enemies.

Aspect of Hera (Heart-Seeking Bow) Mechanics:

• Loads bloodstones into the Attack for use at the end of its trajectory.
• Bloodstones dislodge faster at higher Aspect levels (5 seconds at max).
• Requires less charge time than Aspect of Beowulf, operates from a safe distance, and integrates Attack and Cast effects without drastically altering Cast boon mechanics.
• Offers less area-of-effect damage than Naegling’s Board but provides superior safety.

Aspect of Hera Strategy:

1. Load bloodstones into your Attack.
2. Unleash a high-powered shot at a primary threat.
3. The Cast boon will activate at the arrow's destination, providing area-of-effect damage (Dionysus, Poseidon, Athena, Ares w/ blade rifts, Zeus w/ chain lightning) or high single-target damage (Artemis, Aphrodite w/ smaller AoE).

Recommended Cast Boons for Aspect of Hera:

• General Use: Trippy Flare (high base damage), Phalanx Shot, Crush Shot (strong base damage, AoE at impact, help unlock Parting Shot Duo boon).
• Blade Shot: Aim in front of the target to maximize blade rift duration.
• Crystal Beam: Sets a pylon that shoots along the arrow's trajectory.
• Supplementary: Snow Burst (Demeter) for additional AoE against weaker foes.

Note for Speed-running with Infernal Soul: Trippy Flare is not ideal due to bloodstone retrieval delays.

Loading three bloodstones with compatible Cast combinations can result in thousands of damage.
