Detailed walkthrough for Part 9 of Half-Life: Blue Shift, covering the teleporter lab area, warehouse storage, and combat strategies against marines.

Walkthrough:

  1. After defeating the initial enemy, pull the green crate back to fully open the door.
  2. Proceed through the door, pick up the marine's rifle, and go down the hallway, turning right.
  3. Use the crowbar to break the boards covering the hole in the right wall.
  4. Enter the hole, break the boards with a sign, and use the elevator to descend to section ba_teleport1.
  5. Section ba_teleport1: You cannot enter the teleporter lab without Dr. Rosenberg.
  6. Jump onto the large leaning vent shaft near the elevator, turn on your flashlight, and crouch-walk up to see an image of the "horrid-head guy."
  7. Push through the left door past the vent shaft, turn right, and go through the security door.
  8. In the room, find two full sets of armor and ample ammo for the .357 and shotgun.
  9. Attempt to use the handprint recognition device to the left of the lab door; it will not grant access.
  10. Return to the elevator and ride it back up to section ba_yard3.
  11. Section ba_yard3 (again): Exit the elevator, go back through the wall hole, turn right, and proceed down the hallway until section ba_yard4 loads.
  12. Section ba_yard4: Enter the door leading to the stairs and ascend to the first floor.
  13. Go through the storage room door and search the shelves for four health packs (some in bashable boxes).
  14. Proceed through the next door into a room with boxes, gas cans, and a barrel; ignore these items.
  15. Push open the EXIT door.
  16. Equip the .357 Magnum. Crouch-strafe slowly into the doorway, looking left.
  17. Target the three marines near the parked cars. Save your game.
  18. Shoot the rightmost marine in the head for a one-shot kill. If unsuccessful, quickload and retry. Save again upon success.
  19. Crouch-strafe right to face the next marine. If facing away, repeat the headshot process (may require multiple attempts).
  20. If the marine faces you, quickload, sneak to a position where you can see part of him but he cannot see you. Shoot him to make him run, then quickly kill him before he can react.
  21. Engage the third marine near the cars using the same method as the second.
  22. Take down the two marines at the far left end near the semicircular doors. Strafe slowly until the first one sees you, then kill him as he runs towards you. Repeat with the second marine. Save your game.
  23. Crouch-walk through the doorway, turn left, and crouch-walk to a corner.
  24. Turn left at the corner and crouch-walk towards a dumpster. A marine will break through the window above.
  25. Move slightly forward into the marine's blind spot. Use the pistol to shoot him in the head until dead.
  26. Collect dropped weapons and AR grenades. Jump-crouch onto the dumpster, then to tire stacks, and finally to the ledge.
  27. Crouch-walk along the ledge through the window. Turn left past the window, go through a door into a room, then through another door into a hallway. Proceed until section ba_yard4a loads.
  28. Section ba_yard4a: In the room past the next door, jump onto the desk to get the .357 and an ammo box.
  29. Bash the crates in the corner left of the desk for a health pack.
  30. Bash the padlock on the nearby fence door to obtain an armor vest, shotgun shells, bullets, and .357 ammo.
  31. Go down the short hall to another door. Save your game.
  32. Open the door and move slightly through it to be seen by the marines in the warehouse storage area.
  33. Quickly back up through the door, turn, and run back to the previous section to trigger a section load.
  34. As soon as the previous section loads, turn around and return to this section. This will
