Game System:
Heroes of Might and Magic II (HOMM2) is a strategy-adventure-RPG game created by New World Computing, published for PC and Macintosh. Beginners may find it confusing initially. Players can choose to play a campaign (recommended), a standard game on a custom map, or a multiplayer battle via modem, network, or hotseat (up to 4 players on one computer). The 'Load game' option allows access to previous saves. Previews of games created by NWC can be seen by clicking the door on the main menu. When selecting a map in standard or multiplayer mode, map information such as player count and hero types is displayed below the map name. The game features an experience status system where hero levels increase with sufficient experience.
