To Curse the Darkness

Head to the marker Sylens gave you. Fast travel to the Evening Signs fort east of the destination.

Follow the path west from the fort, keeping left at the split to go through a narrow pass along a small stream.

Continue until Sylens informs you about handholds on a sheer rock face.

Head south to the stream's source and climb the revealed handholds.

Climb to the campfire above and wait until nightfall.

Quick save at the campfire, then a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) will play with Sylens, revealing your mission to climb and override a Corrupted Tallneck. You will also learn Sylens assisted the Eclipse.

After regaining control, go through the crevice Sylens mentioned to find a small grove.

Stealthily dispatch the Corrupted Watchers and two Corrupted Longlegs patrolling the grove.

Continue north to find climbholds leading to a small pass to the next area.

Take out the Corrupted Scrappers in this area.

Continue north across the stream and climb to the next area. A cutscene will reveal the Tallneck has been moved.

You will have a choice to kill or avoid the Eclipse Cultists. Kill them and clear out the camp.

Head to the large tent on the other side of the ravine. Inside, you will find the datapoints **[AD28] Wife**, **[AD29] Meridian's Fall**, **[AD30] Prophecy**, **[AD31] Itamen Coddled**, **[AD32] Without Pity**, and **[AD33] Chosen of the Sun**. Inspect the armor in the tent for dialogue about Helis.

Push down the tree at the back of the tent to create a bridge across the ravine.

Follow the ledge around to find where the Tallneck has been moved and fixed.

Climb to the top for a cutscene revealing a second Metal Devil.

Aloy will attempt to override the Tallneck, but Hades will intervene.

Aloy will destroy the Tallneck node, but Deathbringers will shoot you down, forcing you to run.

Run away from the Deathbringers firing from across the ravine.

Ignore the approaching Cultists and keep running back to the camp.

Bypass the swarm of Cultists at the camp and head for the rappel on the bridge.

Rappel down, and the bridge will explode, causing Aloy to fall.

A cutscene will play with Sylens at the bottom, instructing you to meet him at Sunfall.

You will unlock the Trophy: Crash the Eclipse Network and complete the quest.
