Collectibles: Ethereal Shards

Scattered across every island are shimmering Ethereal Shards, fragments of ancient knowledge. Collecting these shards not only contributes to your overall completion percentage but also unlocks lore entries and grants small, permanent stat bonuses to your character. There are typically 25 Ethereal Shards per major island zone.

• Strategy: Ethereal Shards often require a combination of platforming skill and puzzle-solving to reach. Look for unusual environmental cues, hidden ledges, or faint glowing trails that might indicate their presence.
• Reward: For every 5 shards collected within a zone, visit the Archivist's Spire in the central hub to claim a Minor Insight Augmentor. Collecting all 25 in a zone unlocks a unique cosmetic title for your character.
• Tracking: Your in-game map will display a counter for collected shards per zone. Once you complete the main questline for an island, a new map overlay becomes available at the Cartographer's Guild that highlights general areas where uncollected shards might be found.

Code Red Hunts

These challenging encounters pit you against elite, mutated creatures that pose a significant threat. Code Red Hunts are excellent sources of rare crafting materials and unique gear blueprints.

• Activation: Code Red Hunts are initiated by interacting with Wanted Posters found in major settlements or by speaking to the Bounty Master Kael in the Worker's District.
