This section details how to achieve all of Judas's endings and related achievements in The Binding of Isaac. Judas is a character unlocked by defeating Satan for the first time. He starts with one Red Heart container, three coins, and The Book of Belial, possessing a 1.35x damage multiplier.

Black Judas, also known as Dark Judas, is a form achieved when a character dies with Judas' Shadow in their inventory. Black Judas respawns with two Black Hearts, a 2x damage multiplier, and a base speed of 1.1, boasting the highest damage multiplier among playable characters. In Repentance and Repentance+, Black Judas cannot gain Red Heart containers, instead converting them to Black Hearts. Despite being considered a separate character, Black Judas counts towards Judas's achievements and unlocks, including his Completion Marks.

Notes on Playing as Judas:

• The Book of Belial's damage increase is significant and should be retained. In Rebirth, it also guarantees a Devil or Angel Room after a boss fight. In later DLCs, it increases the chance by 12.5%.
• Judas's low starting health makes health upgrades a priority. Devil Deals can be risky.
• Items like Dead Cat are beneficial early on due to Judas's single Red Heart container.
• Low-health-activated items such as Scapular, Monkey Paw, Glyph of Balance, and Whore of Babylon are easily triggered.

Item Interactions:

• In Repentance and Repentance+, Birthright transforms The Book of Belial into a passive item that can be held under active items. Its damage boost scales with the charges of the item above it. This interaction may not work with certain item types and has specific synergies detailed under The Book of Belial. It also stacks with Book of Virtues.
