Press the Square button to pull up the Main Menu.

From the Main Menu, you can view your Island Rating, Contracts, Reputation, Finances, and Missions for the current Island.

Use the L1 & R1 shoulder buttons to navigate to other areas of the Main Menu.

Use the left Analogue Stick to hover over an Island and select it with the X Button.

The Expedition Map is the same map seen via the Expedition Centre.

Fossils are viewed the same way as in the Fossil Centre.

Research is viewed the same way as in the Research Centre.

The Ingen database provides information on Discovered Dinosaurs, Dig Sites, Paleontology, Genes, Locations, and Archives.

Pressing the Options button opens the Options Menu, where you can Resume, Save Career, Load Career, Restart Island, access Settings, Help, or Exit to Main Menu.

Pressing L1 while on the Island brings up the ACU Menu.

From the ACU Menu, you can send out the ACU Helicopter or Transport teams.

Pressing R1 while in the ACU Menu accesses the Upgrades screen to apply Research Centre upgrades. Pressing R1 again allows you to change helicopter skins, and a third R1 press allows you to deactivate the ACU centre.

The ACU Menu is used to tranquilize escaped dinosaurs and transport dead or tranquilized dinosaurs.

Pressing R1 while on the Island brings up the Ranger Menu.

From the Ranger Menu, you can dispatch up to 3 Ranger teams, each capable of multiple tasks.

Pressing R1 while in the Ranger Menu accesses the Upgrades screen for Research Centre upgrades. Pressing R1 again allows you to change Jeep skins, and a third R1 press allows you to deactivate the Ranger centre.

The Ranger Centre is used to repair structures damaged by storms or dinosaurs, refill feeder supplies, tend to wounded dinosaurs, and treat dinosaur diseases (requires a cure created in the Research Centre).

Pressing the Triangle button while on the Island brings up the Management View.

The Management View allows you to see all available resources on the map in a filtered view. Use R1 or L1 to navigate filter tabs (e.g., only dinosaurs, only vehicles) or select the View All tab.

Pressing the X button while on the Island selects an item if your cursor is hovering over it. If nothing is under the cursor, it performs no function. The X button also confirms actions.

Pressing the Circle button while on the Island does nothing. When an item is selected or waiting for confirmation, the Circle button cancels the action.

The Left Analogue Stick controls your cursor for navigation and building placement.

The Right Analogue Stick adjusts the camera view and angle.
