They're called Optional Contracts, and honestly, they're one of the best ways to get your park's reputation soaring and line your pockets with some extra cash. Plus, they're key to raising your standing with the three main divisions: Science, Entertainment, and Security.

Why bother with your division reputation? Well, hitting certain milestones with each one unlocks new research options and bumps up your overall park rating. Think of it as a little thank-you from the game for helping them out.

Now, here's the cool part: unlike the main story missions, these contracts are pretty generic and totally random. They're repeatable too, so you can keep doing them. If you accept one and then change your mind, no worries – you can reject it. Just remember, you can only juggle 3 contracts at a time, and you've got to wait a minute between picking up new ones. It keeps things from getting too overwhelming, you know?

To give you an idea of what you might run into, here are a few examples:

• Science Mission: Population Increase — This one's pretty straightforward. You just need to incubate and release any 4 dinosaurs. Easy peasy.
• Entertainment Mission: Birthing a Miracle — For this, you'll want to head over to the Hammond Creation Lab and get a Ceratosaurus incubated.
• Security Mission: Fossil Finding: Expedition for a Carnivore Fossil — This involves sending your expedition team out to the USA Morrison Formation to dig up the fossil of a Ceratosaurus.
