Troubleshooting: Stuck on the Loading Screen?

So, you might want to replay parts of the game or take a break, and that's totally fine! The game saves at specific points, usually after you finish a chapter (like The Kid, The Best Friend, The Hunter, and so on). Just make sure you've gotten past the prologue for the first save to kick in.

Now, I ran into a bit of a snag on PC where quitting and reloading sometimes made the game menu refuse to load. It seems like a save function optimization issue on PC. But don't worry, there's a simple fix! If this happens to you, try running the game in compatibility mode. Here’s how:
