Chapter 2: Scrapped Watchman

From the Stargazer at Hotel Krat, turn left into the room with a piano.

Talk to Antonia to get Someone's Memory and Show Off Clothes.

Talk to Antonia again, choose "About lying," then "About Geppetto."

Equip Someone's Memory.

Use Show Off Clothes in front of Antonia to get Vivid Ergo Fragment.

Investigate the piano and choose "Start performing."

Search the table down the steps to obtain Venigni's Krat Landmark Guide I.

Cross over to the workshop on the other side.

Talk to Eugénie to get Puppet String.

Talk to Eugénie again, choose "Talk," then "About Stargazer," then "About training."

Talk to Sophia, choose "Talk," then "About Ergo," then "About Monad's Lamp."

Walk up to the reception desk and talk to Polendina. Choose "Talk," then "About the Grand Covenant."

Polendina sells Fable Catalysts (400 ergo), Legion Magazines (250 ergo), Sawtoothed Wheels (100 ergo), and 2 Quartz (2,800 ergo each).

Go up the steps and exit through the back of the hotel to Elysion Boulevard.

Continue forward for a jump scare and repair the Stargazer at the Elysion Boulevard Entrance.

Use the Stargazer and choose "Talk with Gemini."

Continue along the street, passing a locked shortcut door on the left.

Search to the left of some steps going up for a chest containing LADA F150 Frame.

Continue up the steps and climb the ladder.

Cross to the other rooftop, go left, and press the button to lower a ladder shortcut.

Continue across the rooftops until you enter a building.

Go up the steps and back outside. Bait the first enemy back into the building to defeat it without getting shot.

Cross the wooden planks and go down the ladder.

Press the button to open the shortcut.

Go back up the ladder and continue forward up another ladder.

Work your way clockwise across the rooftops until you return indoors. Watch out for puppets tossing things.

Search the draped couch near the fireplace to obtain Frozen Man's Letter.

Read Frozen Man's Letter to get Remembrance.

Go out onto the balcony, cross over, and defeat the Brawler Puppet. If low on resources, risk running past to the stargazer.

Open the chest to obtain Life Amulet.

Continue into the next building and repair the Stargazer Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard.

Talk to the Wandering Merchant. They sell Attribute Resistance Ampoules (180 ergo), Legion Magazines (180 ergo), Throwing Cells (280 ergo), Electric Blitz Canisters (390 ergo), Electric Blitz Abrasives (440 ergo), 2 Gemini's Iron Protections (390 ergo each), and 2 Gemini's Emergency Protections (390 ergo each). They also sell the Electric Coil Stick weapon for 1,200 ergo.

Continue outside and cross the plank to the large rooftop. Consider using Puppet String to pull the gunner to you.

Climb up the small ladder and search the ground to obtain Venigni's Krat Landmark Guide II.

Hop down and look for a sign that says "Homomachina." Go down the ladder nearby to street level.

Look for a lit window at the bottom and talk to Toma twice.

Check the alley on the right and open the chest to obtain Workshop Union Standard Insulation Converter. Explore the rest of this section for minor loot, including some Hidden Moonstones.

Climb back up the ladder and cross to the next building. A Dimensional Butterfly here drops a Hidden Moonstone.

Go through the building and drop down onto the platform near the woman in the window. Talk to the Weeping Woman and choose "I'll find her."

Climb down and prepare for a fight. Defeat the Police Baton Puppet to get Krat Police Baton.

Search the luggage by the overturned carriage ahead to obtain Torn Doodle.

Continue down the street and stick to the left. .

Turn around and enter the building after dealing with two sword puppets. Repair and lift the lever to open a shortcut back to the stargazer. Rest if needed, then go back down.

Open the door and continue forward to Alchemist Bridge.

Approach the NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you) to trigger a fight. Defeat Mad Donkey to get Mad Donkey's Mask, Mad Donkey's Hunting Apparel, Krat City Hall Key, and Enigma Assembly Tool.

Talk to Geppetto and continue forward, opening the door to repair the Stargazer at Krat City Hall.

Follow the street to a fountain and turn left into the alley. .

Continue up the steps past the fountain. Check near the tree on the left side of the entrance to pick up Krat News Issue 1124.

Go to the opposite side and defeat the Brawler Puppet. Check near the tree on the right side of the entrance to pick up Broken Baby Puppet.

Enter city hall and look for a chest on the left to obtain Puppet Destroyer's Amulet. A basin before boss arenas allows you to spend a Star Fragment to summon a Specter.

WARNING: If you did not speak to Toma at the window earlier, stop and do that now.

Open the door to enter the courtyard.

Defeat the Scrapped Watchman to get Overcharged Storage Battery.
