Walkthrough for Marvel's Spider-Man's 'My OTHER Other Job' mission. Learn how to complete the prosthetic arm repair puzzles and the Spectrograph analysis.
Walkthrough
- 1Head to Greenwich. You'll learn the Point Launch traversal move (L2+R2 to zip, then X before landing to launch forward) and the dive move (L3).
- 2Inside the building, meet Dr. Otto Octavius. After a malfunction, Pete is offered the day off.
- 3Optional: Explore the lab for backstory. Dr. Octavius' phone behind Pete has a praise message. The room to the right has a magazine and photo. A report on the first test subject is on a table about 10m from your destination.
- 4Go to the malfunctioning arm and press Triangle to test it.
- 5Move to the tablet on the toolbox and press Triangle to inspect the diagnostics. You need to connect the green beam to the orange box using provided L-shaped and straight pieces.
- 6Puzzle 1: Place pieces on the grid to guide the green beam. Start with an L-shape in the initial octagon, rotating it up. Place another L-shape one spot up, rotating it right. Use a straight piece in the next octagon to the right. Use another L-shape to move the beam down, then a straight piece to continue down. Finally, use two L-shapes to move the beam left then down.
- 7Puzzle 2: This puzzle introduces directional pieces (indicated by yellow arrows). Use piece B, rotated to move right. Use piece A to move straight. Use piece D to curve down. Use another A piece to move straight down. Use a C piece to turn left. Use piece B, rotated to move down. Use the last C piece to turn right, then the last A piece to finish.
- 8Puzzle 3: This puzzle adds a voltage requirement. You have pieces with +1, +2, and -1 charges. The target is to meet the voltage requirement shown at the top. First, use a +2 piece. Then, place a -1 piece in the red spot. Place another +2 piece in the next space. The numbers at the top should turn green. Finally, guide the current down to the orange box using the remaining pieces.
- 9After repairs, test the arm by tapping Triangle. Its range of motion is improved.
- 10Move to the back of the lab and use the Spectrograph to analyze an unknown substance.
- 11Identify fragments (A, B, C, D, E) by matching them to the absorption spectrum. Move fragments using the Left Analog Stick and X.
- 12Match Fragment B to the purplish-blue portion of the spectrum (two solid lines on the right). Match Fragment C and Fragment A to the last two spots. The substance is identified as Hydrogel/Polymer Composite.
- 13Your required work is done. You can exit or continue with Spectrograph missions.
