BOSS: CRO-MAINE

Master the Cro-Maine boss fight in Metal Eden! Learn his attack patterns, weak spots, and the best strategy to defeat him and progress through the game.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Attack: Club swing (high damage, can stun)
• Weak Point: Unspecified, but vulnerable after his jump attack.

Phases:

1. Initial Encounter: Cro-Maine waits for you to attack. He'll retaliate with a club swing if you're too close, or a powerful jump slam if you attack and then stay on top of him.
2. Pattern Exploitation: After the first hit, Cro-Maine will jump. This is your opening to run under him and attack from the other side.

Strategy:

• The key to this fight is timing and positioning. Don't let Cro-Maine hit you with his club; it's a fight-ending attack that forces a restart.
• When the fight begins, immediately bite Cro-Maine. He won't attack until you do.
• After your first bite, he'll jump high into the air. This is your cue to quickly move out of the way. If you're caught underneath him, you'll be stunned and he'll use his club.
• As he descends, run *under* him to the other side.
• Once you're on the opposite side, jump up and bite him again.
• Repeat this dance: let him jump, run under him, jump and bite. Keep this up until he's defeated.
• Don't worry too much about his speed; the pattern is consistent and exploitable.
• Once Cro-Maine is down, eat all the meat he drops and proceed into Eden.
