Alright, let's get down to finding all the birds in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. These feathered friends are scattered across the map, and some are tied to specific missions or even bosses. We'll break down where to find each one, so you don't miss any opportunities.

Parrot

This special bird is linked to The End boss fight. You can find it during the battle or after you've defeated him. Its location changes based on the difficulty:

• Very Easy: Look for it on a log near the southern part of Sokrovenno South.
• Normal: It'll be perched on the munitions store building on the western side of Sokrovenno South.
• Extreme: This one's tricky. It's in a tree on the central hill/sniping point in Sokrovenno South. You'll definitely want to use your Thermal Goggles here.

White-Rumped Vulture

These are the biggest birds you'll encounter and are pretty easy to spot. You'll find them in the Krasnogorje areas:

• Krasnogorje Mountain Base: Two can be found on the western edge of the map.
• Krasnogorje Mountainside: More can be found here.
• Krasnogorje Mountaintop: And even more here.

Red Avadavat

Head to Graniny Gorki. You're looking for the exterior of the lab. Specifically, search through the tall grass all around the outside walls. If you're having trouble spotting them, your Thermal Goggles are your best friend here, as they're quite small. You might even see it as soon as you enter the area, so check the grass right there first.

Magpie

This is likely the first bird you can snag, even during the opening Virtuous Mission. You can find it on the very first screen in Dremuchij South. Before you go bird hunting, it's a good idea to grab your backpack from the tree. Magpies are skittish, so you'll want to shoot from a distance. Once you have a weapon, head up the right side of the area, towards where you'd look for the Kerotans. Be careful not to get too close to the tall grass in that little spot. Switch to first-person view, aim at the grass, and shoot when you see it.

You'll also find Magpies in other spots like Dremuchij Swampland, Graniny Gorki South, and Svyatogornj South. They also appear in the areas where you fight The End: Sokrovenno South, West, and North.

Sunda Whistling Thrush

This is probably the second bird you'll encounter. It's in Dremuchij North, the area with your first enemy encounter during the Virtuous Mission. In the initial spot where you meet the first guard, look a bit north towards some tall grass. It's right under a tree with Golova fruit, but the bird can be tough to see in the cover. Grabbing a pair of Thermal Goggles in this same area will help a ton with spotting it.

You can also find the Sunda Whistling Thrush in Rassvet, Graniny Gorki Lab Exterior (Outside Walls), Tikhogornyj, and Zaozyorje East.
