The Mosin Nagant is a Soviet-made sniper rifle in Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, based on the M1891/30. This rifle was developed by selecting the most precise units from the M1891/30 production line and making modifications. It was widely used on the Russian front during WWII and proved its effectiveness in combat. The Mosin Nagant uses 7.62mmx54R ammunition, specially modified into tranquilizer rounds (7.62 tranq.).
